摘要： 法律硕士专业学位教育自1996年正式实施、试办招生，经过十余年的发展，已经成为经国家学位与研究生教育主管部门批准正式实施的法学教育制度之一。十年来，随着试点院校的不断拓展和招生规模的扩大，法律硕士专业学位教育培养模式的改革也成为各培养单位研究和实践的热点问题。作者在法律硕士专业学位教育发展的宏观视野下，分析了人大法学院法律硕士研究生培养的现状，并结合培养模式改革的新形势，提出了在法律硕士培养上要进一步明确高层次、复合型、实务型法律人才的培养定位，在此基础上，法律硕士的培养应当朝着提高法律硕士学生的法学基础理论素养、法律职业素养和职业技能以及法律实务能力的方向努力。

Abstract: The Juris Master degree（J．M．）program has been officially carried out since 1996，in which yearthe Dilot recruitment was made for the first time．After more than one decade’s development，the J．M．has become oneof the legal education programs approved and implemented by China’s degree and master education authorities．From anoverall studv on the J．M．’s development，the author makes an analysis on the current status of Renmin Law School’sDroduction of J．M．candidates and sets forth the positioning of the J．M．to be aimed at turning out high—level，multi—qualities and professional—oriented legal minds，which is based on the new situation of reforming the education modes．Inaddition，the author holds that the J．M．should be directed at improving the candidate’s grasp of fundamental legal theo—ries，the understanding of the professional requirement and skills as well as the lawyering capability．
