Abstract: The legal culture of Africa is not only an important component of African culture study，but also an indispensable analytic object of the theoretical research of legal culture．However，the domestic and international research state shows that the educational circles still question about some problems，such as the concept of African law，whether the family of African law can exist independently，the integration and variety of African legal culture，the object and value of the stu．ay of African legal culture，etc．This article has carried on some reasonable explanations to some academic disputes in the African legal cultural study，and put forward the clear view on several basic theoretical questions．
